Over-eating can be a huge problem.
As a practicing Hypnotist, it is common to encounter people who are having problems with over-eating, along with a plethora of bad habits. These conditions are all symptomatic of a lifestyle, which revolves around ignoring “feelings”. When someone is using food as a distracter from uncomfortable feelings, weight management becomes difficult, if not impossible.
Are they at fault? By looking at how the mind works in a practical sense, not really. They are just acting out the “daily script” that they or some influential person helped to create. Hypnosis is a state of mental relaxation. It is not sleep and it is not unconsciousness. It is a method for having a constructive conversation with one's subconscious. How is this achieved? Through techniques that help bypass the Judgmental mind and temporarily set it aside.
